Appearance:
Her eyes are a deep red color, giving her an especially fierce look in spite of her caring, gentle attitude. Her parents snipped off the pointed tips on her ears long ago, but she still hides her ears under her long, orange hair. Both of her ears are pierced, and though they are hidden under her hair, she still likes to wear a different pair of ear-rings each day. She takes great pride in the length of her hair, it reaching past her elbows and nearly to her hips, and she takes great care of it, too. She always combs it until it's shining, and she loves trying out different hair-styles.
She's not very tall, just 4"5, and added to her big, round eyes, and overall small size, she is often taken for a ten-year-old. As much as she likes being a pampered child, this still bothers her somewhat, so she tries her best to dress in clothes that make her look older. It never really helps much, however, and gives her an even more cute look. Like a child trying to play dress-up. She never wears any makeup, though, since she believes it ruins peoples looks, more than it helps them.

Personality:
She has a sort of sweet, simple character. She's very loving towards her friends and family, and very, very shy when meeting strangers, but after a while she can open up to just about anyone. She's too quick to believe in others sometimes. Even a person anyone could tell was horrible would appear as a good person in her eyes. This leads her to be disappointed whenever she finds out how wrong she was about someone, and she can't help but burst into tears.
She's not a complete dunderhead, though. Like most Elves, she is smart, although a bit more spaced out than others, and she can generally find a solution to most of her problems by herself.

History:
Up until the fifth year of her life, Kate lived quite peacefully with her parents in their home, a small house smack in the middle of a forest. Kate never knew quite where the forest she had lived in was, since she was too youn to really remember her stay there. She and her parents soon moved to a small town when a forest fire forced them out of their home. Kate's aunt was a fairly rich woman, and was very fond of both Kate and her parents, so she allowed them to stay at her own home. A small but fairly pretty house that was nestled comfortably between two gently sloping hills. She spent eleven years there, learning how to ride horses and do chores.
Afterword, her parents moved again, this time because they had saved enough money to pay for an apartment in Seranium. Upon moving there, they were almost instantly taken note of by hunters, and were soon killed. Kate, who had arrived on a different plane, came to find the apartment they had bought empty and unused. She never really figured out what happened to them, and she went on living on her own, using the money left in her parents bank-account.
