The pale figure of a human moved amoungst the darkness the night put over the square. The pale blue and green eyes scanned around herself before a flash of light and a dark chocolate wolf stood where the human form had been moments before. The humans where sleeping. A perfect time for a werewolf to do whatever. At night.
Raising her head, Leah walked silently into the time square. Her ivory white claws slid out. You see, Leah's claws were like a cat's. they where retractable. She leapt onto the stone ledge of the seat beside the huge pool that had water spurting up from the center from a tube. A waterfountian. Outstreching her neck, she drank huge mouthfuls before in a blur she was on the ground again.
a long tongue swept around the fae werewolf's jaws, the pale blue eye and green eye gazing around. She was alone; atleast, as far as she knew that, in her knowledge she was alone. Leah shook her fur and sneezed, but stuck her own tail to her wolf face to prevent the sound from awakening something.
Pulling her tail from her face, she blinked and streched, flexing her claws on the stone beneath her paws. A small scrapping noise came out. No normal human would hear it. Retrackting her claws in, she let her tail fall back to normal. Turning, she walked silently over to one of the stone benches.
With a sigh, she closed her eyes and leapt onto the stone bench and curled up. She didn't know why she was going to sleep here, but she guessed she would. Curling her fluffy tail around herself, she rested her head on her tail as a light doze began to fall on her, yet she was still alert for anything.
She didn't notice the cold wind, for it felt comforting to her. She flickring an ear as her eyes slowly drifted close. She tried forcing herself to sleep, but couldn't. Annoyed, she shifter to a more comforable posision and felt her eyes slide closed again. Her mind became hazy as a light sleep came over her and her breathing slowed until it seemed that she wasn't breathing at all, unless you felt her flank and elt it rising and falling gently.

Silent footsteps followed me wherever I went, even as human. But that is a moot point, and not why I came. Keeping watch on the town to keep Brianna safe, I found another lost soul. Lost, I knew, because she didn't go looking for blood, instead just a place to sleep. I gently walked over to sit beside the wolf, and placed my hand on her head as I sat. I knew I might lose the hand, but I would do it none the less. Anyone like us who came into town was running a risk of being discovered, and I wasn't going to let that happen to a shifter like me. Never.

Leah's shoulder twitched in her dreaming. She didn't sense the presence of the other werewolf nearby. The visions of herself screaming and punching at a bloodthirsty werewolf's face as she fought to get it off of her, so she could just end her life. Yet now, she was alive. She was a monster. A gentle ripple passed through her pelt as she thought of this.
She did not hear Fang as he approached softly. She was in visions, memories, hearing screams and the sound of waater, drowning in her own memories. A shudder passed through her pelt when Fang sat by her head. She couldn't get the images from her head.
She didn't notice the hand upon her head. If Fang had been a human she wouldn't have cared. She wanted what had been taken from her. She wanted it all back, the time of pain and suffers, the wounds, all of it to rewind. Go back to when she was born. She was half werewolf half vampire. A monster formed.
Words rang it her head. It was enough to drive anyone insane. Her shoulder fur witched against. Obviously she hadn't slept this trouble in a while. Fang probally thought she was mental or something, twitching about every five minutes.
A low growl came from her suddenly; she was still sleeping, but her claws slid out and the sound of pieces of the stone where being ground against claws came. Leah unensed suddenly as the twitching stopped. In her mind she was in some dark room. She was in the time square during the day, surrounded by humans.
She had no idea why she was dreaming of this, but she was. Her tail twitch twitched slightly. She wished she'd wake up already, but she couldn't wake herself. But she didn't know she'd find Fang there when she woke. And maybe this would be how they would meet.

Jisa But Dark girl lives in the dark, So you dont see her painful mark.
Invisible. Silent. Non existent. These reasons are why the dark haired young adult loved the night, she didn't have to be bothered when she didn't want to be. Her waist length hair swirled around her tall thin body, blending her into the night fitfully. Ocean blue eyes barely seen seen in the dark night shrouded town square. It was quite cool this particular night, but Jisa was still warm. She was wearing a black turtleneck and black jeans, the only parts of her that stood out was her tanned skin. The air around her held smells of the forest, since the breeze was blowing from that direction, calming the older teen. Six feet of muscle and grace moved toward the slumped figure and the boy who was next to it. Her fluid movements come to a stop a comfortable distance away from the two, enough so that her face was not completely visible to them. Jisa was extremely cautious with Shape Shifters, especially because these two were wolf shifters, she had a bad history with one. Tan arms crossed over her slim chest as she wondered who would say something first, you know what? She would break the silence.
"Am I interrupting something?"
Her voice was highly serious and dripping with sarcasm, she knew she wasn't interrupting anything, but she did want to know what the hell the wolf was doing in the middle of town square. Guess she couldn't make it home in time, it's a good thing Jisa wasn't a Hunter anymore, even though she was debating whether she could still be one.
"What is she doing out here like that anyway? I don't know about you two but I'd rather not be hunted down."
Her harsh voice pointed out quite rightly, one eyebrow arched, waiting expectantly for an answer, oh and she would have an answer, whether they wanted to give her an answer or not. Jisa's voice wasn't even hushed, she just asked outright, it'd serve 'em right if a human woke up and saw this.
Dark Dark girl may never know, Just how much the light can show.

I raised an eyebrow to the newcomer's sarcastic tone, and her apperant rudeness. "Do you often come threatening strangers, little girl?" I asked, standing and looking down at her with my on intimidating look. She was kinda cute, thinking she was tough enough to bring me down. I tasted the scents around the girl, comfirming that she was shifter. "If you're so scared of being hunted down, why come up to us at all? Why not jst save your own skin?" I asked, truely curious. This would be the first time a shifter other than I would come up to others at the risk of death. And even I didn't do that often. I turned back to the sleeping shifter behind me and wondered what was going through her mind. She wasn't very calm, that's for sure. I walked up and shook her shoulder, trying to wake her up from whatever nightmare she was having, and even flicked her ear, gently, of course.

Leah was begiining to twitch - again. She didn't know why, but for some reason the memories where haunting. And they never would go away. If it had been painful she would have been cryig, but she was not crying. She was silently drowning in pain.
the voice of Jisa slashed through her mind. her eyes sqeezed tighter. Her breathe picked up, and the nightmare flashed over and over in her mind. A scream erupted from her jaws as the sound of claws crumbling stone came.
A moment later a hand was shaking her. The pale blue and green eyes flew open, and Leah tumbled backwards off the bench, fur bristling. She tumbled to the ground, landing smack on her back, the breathe whooshing from her lungs.
Gasping, she rolled over and got up, and started coughing. Her eyes met Fang's and Jisa's. both smelled of shifter. The wolf's mismatched eyes looked at theirs silently, questioning; who are you?
Obviously by the way the scream had came from her showed somethig was wrong, and Leah was trying to force her fur flat, but it continued to remain sticking straight up. The pale blue eye and green eye watched the other two, waiting to see what they would do.

Well, I got her up at least. "It's alright, I'm not gunna hurt you," I raised my hands in the universal 'I mean no harm' jesture, slowly backing up. She was obviously scared out of her wits, and I don't blame her. How would you feel if you where sleeping and two strangers woke you up on a park bench? "I'm not going to hurt you," I said again as I stoped backing up. "I'm Fang. I have no Idea who this is, though," I said, looking back at Jisanna. "But someone heard that noise I can guarantee, so we need to get outta here." I said, shrugging out of my jacket and tying it securely to my leg with the fishing wire I usually use to tie my pants on. Once secure, I fully shifted, shredding my fifth pair of pants that week. As wolf, I was far taller than the girl-wolf and able to still look at the still-human shifter in the eye. I turned to The wolf-girl and gave her a big wolfy grin, tongue rolling out of my mouth as i waited for the other shifter to get ready to go. As in, fully shifting.

The chocolate brown pelt blew in the cold, cool wind as she looked confused, from one to the other. She looked at him when he began to back away, holding his hands up in a 'it's alright' gesture. She glanced at Jisanna. The other werewolf was watching them. Leah almost scowled.
Once again, Fang stopped and said he wasn't going to hurt her. She smelt in his direction. Aparently she wasn't the only werewolf in town. He said his name was Fang. Leah's pale blue eye flashed at the name as memories slammed into her mind. Forcing herself to drown the visions and thoughts, she looked at Jisanna, and then at Fang. And waiting.
Of course. A moment after Fang said humans would have most likely heard the comosion, the sound of dogs barking came. wonderful. Growling I crouched, and waited. Out of nowhere a dog appeared. I remained still. Just a little farther. The dog came into striking distance and a moment later a paniced and pained yelp came. My jaws closed around the dog's throat as I slammed it into the rock wall of the wterfall. The dog dropped to the ground.
I looked over to see two more. I lunged at one, cleanly knocking it over. It yelped as it hit the ground, a massive wolf on top of it. Leah's drool slobbered into it's face. Leaving the dog stunned, she kicked the third, sending it flying backwards. She looked at Fang and Jisanna. "Go!" I barked sharply as I ran towards them.

Jisa But Dark girl lives in the dark, So you dont see her painful mark.
Amusing. The Shifter called her a little girl. This was not so. Straightening herself up to her full size of an amazing six plus foot she stared the male right back in the eye, not even shifting under his gaze. Hardly ever, could anyone, under any circumstances make Jisa back down, this girl was tough and she had comebacks for everything. More and more had she been running into other supernaturals as the days went on, so she was getting more accustomed to their god forsaken presence. Though Jisa still had not a reason to trust any 'unnatural' as she preferred to call them, no matter that she was one herself, that was all the more reason not to trust them.
"Do you often try to intimidate people with that look? 'Cause honestly that's not working out for you. And as you can see, I am no little girl."
Jisa shot back at him evenly, not a smile on her face. The Seventeen year old could easily fight this guy if it came to that, and if she had to kill them both, it wouldn't be an option. Not a second would be wasted on idle thoughts and regrets, it would be done without a flinch or remorse toward whom she had just killed. Jisa knew she was tough enough to bring the over confident male down, she didn't underestimate him though. It might be hard, but it could be done. A shrug made her midnight black hair tumble and ripple down her hair, it shone in the moonlight.
"Hey, I'm not scared in the least, why should I be? I could take them. It might be a little bit of a problem for those who are more frightened of the Hunters though."
Easy. The words just slipped out of her mouth as emotionless as can be, perhaps slightly cold, she didn't care. Those Hunters wouldn't dare take her down, just 'cause they were highly trained humans didn't mean that they could sense that she was a Shifter. Paradise Island blue eyes watched as the other Shifter went to awake the little female from her plagued slumber. It was almost as if she was a vampire with the way she was statue standing, that thought disturbed her slightly so she shifted to lean on her other foot. The Female shifter fell flat on her back and looked around, Jisa shook her head and rolled her eyes, while the young man addressed the issue. As for the 'I don't know who this is though part' Jisa just had to look at him with a hardly amused face.
"Good, then that means I've done what I was supposed to,"
Jisa answered him as if she hardly cared, because she didn't, then she turned to address the female.
"I'm not here to hurt you- and sadly not him. You can call me Taylor, later on I might actually tell you my real name."
Her nonchalant voice said toward the wolf shaped girl, but she was kinder towards her. After all she hadn't made demeaning comments to Jisa. Fang as he called himself declared that someone would've heard that noise and then turned all Shape Shifter on them. That made so much sense now didn't it? Not. Jisa was faster in her Shifter form but she didn't want to call attention to herself, so she stayed her athletic six foot human self. She looked down at Fang, he was two feet shorter than her, since she was six feet and something inches. Squarely looking down at him she gave him a sassy smile, before the hounds descended.
The blood and violence of the dog's quick death didn't phase Jisa, she looked on at the fight, remembering her glorious victories. The female wolf's 'Go!' was lost to Jisa, she did not speak dog, not in Human form or Shifted form, but you know she got the gist. Instantly she took off in a steady run, going fast for a human and a hunter but she wasn't exactly trying. She was quite calm, so she was not shifting or half changing yet.
Dark Dark girl may never know, Just how much the light can show.

Let them go. This Taylor may be sassy and arrogant, but She doesn't deserve to die. And neither does the wolf-girl. I though as I turned to face the dogs. It would be an easy matter, and if I allowed them to follow us we could be easily tracked. Not my style. I lifted one giant paw and knocked the first dog out cold, four long strips of blood running down his face. Then I turned to the other and easily lifted him into my maw, snapping his spine in half, then, dropping the lifeless corpse, I turned and ran, hearing human's angry shouts. I took a different route from the two girls, leading any followers in another direction. I ran that way for a few meters, then turned in the girl's direction in order to find them again. I followed my nose, trying to follow their scent though I may have over-run them.

Victoria was getting dizzy from his run, and being tied to his leg wasnt helping much. "Would you already and get to your house softie!!! im getting dizzy being tied to your furry leg!" She shouted at him. "I knew it!!! You are a softie, going to find the two dogs again!" She mocked. She knows that Fang 'wouldnt' eat her. "You really dont want to eat me wolf boy! Haha!"

The she wolf's eyes flashed when she fell. Annoyed, she staggered up and followed, a few feet behind Jisa. She heard humans, and faintly heard the sound of -- oh no. She heard a click as a bullet was loaded into the barrel of a gun. She looked back to see a flash of light. 'no!' she thought.
A loud bang went off, and then silence. Leah staggered up and tried to run, but a hind leg gave out. Wonderful. Baring her fangs, she forced herself to use the leg despite the smal rivets of blood begining to form. She could feel the pain, but atleast the wound was healing already.
She heard another bang. Lucky for Leah, it missed, but nearly got Jis, who was about five feet ahead now. Sadly, she couldn't exactly run. She could do this. No human with a gun could stop her. Tensing, she leapt. She soared till she was only a foot behind Jisa. Where was Fang? Would he panic once he noticed she had been shot?
Drowning her annoying thoughts, she barely managed to keep up with Jisa. She whipped around a corner and crashed into Fang. The collision threw herself backwards. She slammed onto her side heavily. Didn't she have enough being thrown around already today?
Getting up, she shook herself and tried to hide the fact that it would take possibly a day for the wound to heal, and trying to act normal, she stood and applied weight to the leg, even through shocks of pain went up her leg. She really hoped Fang wouldn't notice.
She heard the sound of two more dogs. Humans and their annoying dogs. She heard more voices and the sound of two pairs of feet going in four directions. Two that where 180 degrees away from them, one towards them, and one going east. They might have lost them, but not yet. Wincing, she looked at Fang, her eyes silently screaming at him: "LET'S GO."
She heard the fairy chattering away, tied to Fang's leg, but didn't say anything. The fairy had been getting on her nerves, even now since she just now noticed the dang thing. She was silent, waiting, hearing the pair of humans coming their way slowly getting closer.

Jisa But Dark girl lives in the dark, So you dont see her painful mark.
Well I'll be damned. Jisa shook her head as she looked back at Fang, he was no longer beside her. The Guy's stupid and a heroic showoff. Rolling her eyes she kept running, not worrying for Fang, he could take care of himself. The little female, however, didn't seem to be doing so well in that department. As they were running, a loud bang assaulted Jisa's sensitive hearing, followed by a deep silence. Of course that wolf had to get hit, she looked back to see her struggling with moving forward. Slowing slightly, Jisa surveyed the area, Fang was still nowhere to be seen but his trail consisted of three dead dogs. Plans rang through the dark haired girl's mind like bullet's, she had to choose the one that would work effortlessly and painlessly. Another sharp noise and the ground just behind where Jisa's foot had been a second ago had a hole in it. Wait a second...
Jisa had just turned the corner when Fang and Leah collided, that's when she came up with her plan. Why did those two have to make it so difficult? They just had to shape shift. Jisa stopped abruptly and spun around. Grabbing a hair tie, Jisa through her hair up in a messy bun and altered her clothes without taking them off. She looked like one of those prissy little brats now, and completely different from what they had seen. Running back and looping around, Jisa appeared if front of the mob. When they lifted their guns at her she threw her hands up in submission.
"Hey, I'm human. But those things I just saw certainly weren't! They looped around and went that way."
Jisa said in the most oblivious voice she could. They believed her and ran in the direction she had pointed toward, the opposite from where she had come from and where Fang and the female were. Letting her hair down once they were gone and sprinting back to the two, satisfied at her work. Her hair once again shrouded most of her face, that's the way she liked it. Finally reaching the likely duo, her hands rested on her hips.
"Well, what now hotshot?"
Dark Dark girl may never know, Just how much the light can show.

Ghost shook his head as he slowly rose from the bedroll he was using as a place to sleep. "Hmph, what'll I find today." he murmured sardonically as he pulled on his cloak and fastened the holsters of his guns. "In a city like this, probably lots of fresh game." he continued talking to himself as he went along the task of belting on all his knives, his Sabre, and other assorted items made for killing things. "Surely won't be uneventful." Ghost straped his greatsword to his back as he continued rambling to himself, even on the strap, there were multiple places to put knives, and annunition. Ghost stared at himself in the mirror,"I need a shave." he noted out loud to himself as he noticed a thick stubble growing on his chin and cheeks. "Meh, later" he said as he put on his gloves and pulled on his jacket. "I've got a busy day."
This was 5 hours ago, now; Ghost stands on a rooftop sizing up his third and fourth targets of the day, a male and female shifter...both ready for thr hunter's blade. He stood there, watching a little longer, trying to discern what they were doing. "Their probably mates." he figured, noting the male laying his hand on the female. Ghost pulled out a small contraption of metal and wood from his jacket, it didn't look like much. That is, only to the untrained individual. With a litlle bit of handiwork, it soon resembled a tiny crossbow, a flick bow(to give the device's informal name). The fine ebony wood was encrusted in gilded silver along it's length. The end was completely silver, fashioned into the sneering head of a gargoyle. The elegant and deadly device also had multiple notches of varying length on the handle. A measure of every kill. Ghostgot up from his roost, and sped off along the rooftops to get closer for the final kill.
Jasif was tired, hungry, thirsty, bleeding, and above all else scared to piss. Earlier today his brother was was shot and killed from a rooftop by a hunter. No, not just any hunter, THE hunter. The Ghost. Jasif was a weakling compared to his ill-fated brother, and surely compared to the Ghost. They said he really was a ghost, that he had the ability to reappear sand disappear, they said he could see your very spirit and know what you are.Jasif was turning at random alleyways, charging through bustling walkways without care. He even intruded into a warehouse at a dead turn and came out the other side, just so he could keep running. Although in the back of his mind, he felt that running wasn't going to help one bit. The beleagured Jasif eventually stopped in the town sqaure. He panted and rested against the tree. He let himself relax, take in the scenery, watch the people, it made him feel happy. "I need a bath." he said noticing the stink of sweat on his person. "Hey who are- other shifters!"Jasif bolted from his seat, he had to warn them. "Hey! hey! you! You have to know this!" he yelled as he came up. "The..the..ghost is in town." he noticed there faces, confused like they didn't know what he was talking about. "The Ghost, the Gunman at the bordello......a hunter." Jasif let that sink in,"He's not a normal hunter, no...no...he's a sadist; shoot any human just as quick as a shifter, and oh..how he hates us shifters." Jasif stammered and murmered, he felt like someone was watching him, he felt like his soul was bein g pryed open for the gods themselves to see, he felt like he saw a ghost. "No..no no no..no...he can't be here..no..he..he is..H IS HE-" Jasif's breakdown was cut short by a sickening splich!. Specks of blood now coated everyone and evrything in front of him. Jasif's hand felt at the bolt peircing his neck, his nose and mouth were bleeding. "Damnit" was what he tried to say before he collapsed in a puddle of his own lifeblood. Behind him, a man in a black coat and white hair sood in a brezeway. He was carving a notch on his flick bow with a knife.

Awww, damn. I knew that noise would attract trouble! I stood in front of the other sifters with me, facing the Hunter. I've used my massive size and strength to kill hunters before, why should this be any different? I snarled, showing giant deadly canines, ready and eager for the kill. This was gunna be fun. I backed up, half to obscure the path of a crossbow arrow hitting the wolf-girl, and to increase my chances of snatching it out of the air. He couldn't catch me with an arrow, he had to get upclose and personal, and then stab past my thick, rough fur, with he couldn't do with a knife. not with my skin and flesh to penetrate as well. He'd only scratch me. He'd need a sowrd to bring me down, which he was apperently lacking. I moved my head sideways to speck with the wolf-girl, who was the only one who could understand me at this point. Go. Find my trail and follow it back to my house in the forest. Be quick, and don't stop for anything," I ordered, not taking my eyes off the Hunter. Then, message sent, I turned back and snarled at the Hunter, daring him to do his worst.
