Ken ran threw the mountains his tail was swishing every which direction. He was in half shift and in search of prey, his memories coming back every few days he was happy though, nothing can make him sad today! The male ran threw the woods, with only beach shorts on. His hair very wild and unkept, Ken sniffed the air the scent of deer nearby, he fully shifted his white felt no showing threw the wodds on the mountain. He started to stalk the prey, Love will never kill me.

I sat in the tree, tail swishing every now and then, hanging off the branch. I looked up t the deer I was drawing again, to see it's head perk up in alarm. I wasn't hunting it, I was making no noise at all, so I knew it wasn't searching for me, so who was it looking for? I searched the surrounding area, curious. I wasn't really concerned for myself, no much will find me if I remianed in the trees, and even if they did I could outrun most creatures of th island, except erhaos a vampire, but they often prefer human blood. S, mildly curiou I looked down. A smile lit u my face, ad it was all I coul take not to cry out and alert his prey.

Ken cashed after the deer his claws out, he ran, fast, but a familiar scent hit him. Ken was so hungry he did not stop, The tiger attacked the deer raking his claws across the deers flank, his teeth braking its neck. He ate quickly and just enough to fill him, soon he looked up licking his lips the tiger smiled and soon was a human. ''Hello Kesiah'', a huge smile lit his face the male called her down a hand towards her. He really needed a hug.

I beame down at Ken, and waved. I threw mypad of paper and pencil down, partly upset that I was only abl to draw th head before Ken made the creature his dinner. "Hey Ken!" I cried in delight, hugging him tightly. I hadn't seen him in a few dys, and that could be bad in our world. Not to be the negative type, but in our world any day one of us could be picked off by a hunter or aother supernatural, or even die frm a sickness or injury after fighting a piece of prey. But I was glad he was alright and in my arms now, at least. "How have you been? It's been a few days since I've seen you last," I commented, looking up at him, still holding my arms round him.

''Hi Kesiah'' Ken watched as she got down he hugged her back tightly smelling her sweet scent. He looked down at her, he was so happy to be here to day, ''I have missed you so much Kesiah. How are you?, and i have been fine hunting is better, just thinking about you really''. He got hold of both her hands looking into her eyes forgetting all his worries, Ken has not had such a happy day in a week , more or less, he twirls her, for no reason, just trying to remember the good time they had dancing.

I giggled as he twirled me around, rather randomly. "I've been fine. Hunting's been good enough I now have time to stalk prey just to draw it. But.. uh, have your memories come back any farther?" I wasn't sure if he wanted to talk about it, but I asked anyway, concerned. If his father was anything like mine I could understand if he just wanted to forget again, to not talk about it. But I had to ask. If he was hurting, I wanted to know and make him feel better.. someone like Ken shouldn't be hurting.

Ken was glad hunting was also better for her and that she was happy, he sat down pulling her with him, he hugged her as she sat on his lap. But Ken started to frown he did not like the subject but it was good to talk about it he did not like the feeling he got when they talked about it. ''Yes actually, juts a memory.'' He looked at the sky trying not to picture what he had remembered, but he started to speak anyways he was not sad just mad, he he kept his emotions in check. '' I was ten and my sister was thirteen, my father was in her room with her, i walk in and he was all over her i asked him what he was doing and he smacked me across the face... I hate that man'', Ken sighed and leaned his chin on her shoulder.

I looked sadly at Ken, wrapping my arms around him."I'm sorry your memories are so... bad, Ken.. I really wish they weren't, but there is no way to change the past..." I looked away, back up to my home territory, wishing there was a way to change the past. That way, my pack would never had died... And I wouldn't have been beaten. For the second time in a short time, I swallowed back tears. His father was so much like mine, only mine had beaten the shit out of me, instead of what his did to his sister. I wanted so much to have the warm fur of my packmates around me right now, and all of the past events a distant nightmare... But would I ever give up Ken for my pack back? Maybe it was time to stop living in the past, looking back at the sunrise, and move to the present.. and look forward to the sunset.

Ken blinked his mind going back to the present, he looked at Kesiah and smiled, she was so beautiful her face a perfect girl, '' Its fine i will be okay, its the past and he is gone. And you always make me smile, that is all i need in life''. he kissed her cheek, it was warm and smooth as silk, his lips where burning but it felt good. Ken looked at the sky a bird blew by, it sqwaked but Ken did not care. He did notice though how sad it made her, '' I am sorry Kesiah, we just have to forget out past. Live for waht we have now''.

My cheek felt warm where he kissed it, and I blushed. I tried to wipe away all memories that had been awakened, smiling at him. "It's ok, you have nothing to apologize for," I said, resting my head on his shoulder. Life was so good now, close to what is was once. I could, and would, always miss my wolf family. It was unavoidable. But that didn't mean I couldn't be happy here with Ken. "I'm happy being here with you, now." I said, closing my eyes and listening to his even breathing. I may not ever be happy the way I was once with my pack, but this came close.

Ken laughed he played with her hair as she leaned on his shoulder, he knew life was different now for the both of them but he had a fun idea that could take there minds of things. He looked at her a sparkle in his eyes, Ken had a fun idea, '' How would miss Kesiah like to swim, its very fun'', he stood up bringing her with him, he was wild about having fun right now, its always good to laugh after a cry.

I stood and smiled, but I had never swum before. In the mountains there where only shallow streams. Never a river or anything deep enough to swim in. "I'd like to, but I can't swim." I said, ears pinning back. to tell the truth, I was a bit frightened of deep water. Afraid I wouldn't be able to keep my head above the surface, and breathe in water instead of air... I shivered slightly, at the mere thought.

Ken smiled and held her waist, and laughed, ''It is very fun, i promise i wont let anything bad happen to you''. He took one step and held out his hand hopping she would take it, '' Come on i promise to stay in half forum,nothing will happen exept for fun!!''

I took his hand. I had faith in Ken, even if I was afraid to swim. He wouldn't let anything bad happen to me, I knew that. "alright, I'll try it," I readied myself to run wherever we where going, letting go of his hand.

Ken jogged over to a larger and deep lake that ran of to the Hutan river, he smiled and picked Kesiah up like you see those people do at their wedding, slowly he walked in the water was Luke warm, he blinked and soon was his half form the water at his waste. Ken let Kesiah's legs holding on to her waist, '' Okay hold on this will be fun'', Ken grabbed her hands and put them on his neck, and started to swim, he swam fast for a shifter or even a human he went under water for a while and came back up a smile on his face, '' what did you think''.
