Kaala walked around the river, her human forum showing, she was so happy a huge smile on her face. The eagle shifter had spend the night with her Ben, they didn't have sex or anything but she did spend the night with him, it was magical and she loved it. Truth be told, she would never tell Roul, which she has not seen in to days. She thought he was very unfair, he has not even met the guy. Kaala looked at the river, her refection happy and content.

I was happily running through the forest around the Flint, both glad to be out of my little cave for awhile and wary, being a bit too far from home for comfort, and without knowing if Ken was in the area or not to help If I was tracked down by a hunter. For sure, I couldn't defeat a full hunter on my own, when I'm stuck in a mid-way form for my life. But I halted when I caught whiff of another shifter nearby. I stopped right before running out near enough for them to see me. After a close inspection, I decided that the girl, bird, by the smell of it, was no threat. I stepped out from hiding cautiously, ears pricked forward. "Hi."

The shifter smiled, she was getting the whole little girl happy gut feeling, her night had been wonderful, they hugged and made out in till the moon had taken their energy. Kaala's focus had been brought to female's voice, she turned, and smiled to what she assumed as a shifter, '' Hello there! nice to meet you I'm Kaala''. She waved and looked around, it seemed the girl was out here alone, but the smell was not the usual, non shifter like, Kaala just came out and asked, '' Are you a full shifter?''

Wow... cheerful much? I thought, but I just raised my hand in greeting, keeping my distance from The shifter. Bu7t I wasn't about to seem different to her. "Of course I'm a full shifter, what else could I be?" I asked, trying to seem sure of my self. But really, I was scared. I was with a full shifter that could sense weakness... I shouldn't have come out here on my own. But if I was gunna handle this on my own I'd have to be careful... god, I have trouble trusting people, don't I? "My name's Kesiah."

Kaala smiles and walks a bit closer, '' Haha sorry you just seemed special'', she was twirling her hair, which Ben had curled for her. Kaala was mostly in lala land but you know, what girl wouldn't be?, '' Im Kaala, nice to meet you... i think i have heard of you before. The girl whom has ran with the wolfs.... They talk about that..''. Kaala had no idea where that came out from but she has heard ,from some where, of a girl whom stayed at half shift, and ran with the wolf, and this Kesiah reminded her of that child.

"I've heard of her, but I'm not the wolf-girl. I live with my parents in town," I said, hoping this Kaala would buy it. I could run, but I didn't doubt someone flying could catch me... And again, I had no defense. I was weak, compared to shifters. I couldn't fight one off. And thats when all hell broke loose. A tall, dark, feathery bomb fell from the sky, landing on me. As I tried to get away I was kicked and hit several times, and was hit with huge wings, to boot. But I couldn't get away!

I had sense Kaala and another from high in the sky, and the way the other figure was running towards my little sister, I had no doubt that she was about to be captured by a scientist, and I had sworn to myself that I would never let her go back for as long as I lived. So I pulled in my wings, plummeting down, and attacked as soon as I was close enough. I wasn't about to let the filthy human get away!

Kaala smiled and crossed her arms, '' Okay if you say so'', she was not sure if she believed the girl. But randomly Kaala felt a weird thing in her stomach and a large raven came out of the sky ROUL, he jumped Kesiah and started to beat her and kick, Kaala panicked but soon was on top of her brother trying to pry him of the shifter girl, '' Roul are you crazy she is a shifter like us, my friend...gt of'', be she could tell he was not listening.

Ken was walking threw the river, but soon his tiger ears hear a sounds, his paws started to run, his heart beating fast, he could scene it was Kesiah. As he got close he could see a dark haired guy attacking Kesiah and a blond girl trying to pry him of. GRRRRRR Kenn growled, he was a white tiger now, and fighting that boy would be easy. he jumped and tried to flip him over.

I was, surprisingly, happy when I heard a loud roar and saw a flash of white. My knight in shining armor, Ken, was here. He sucessfully flipped the shifter off, and I scrambled back to hide behind The tiger. Pathetic, I know, but I was glad to have someone between me and the maniac bird. Panting wildly, I paused to catch the breath that was beaten out of me. I had a few cuts and scrapes, but other than that I was fine. It was like my attacker was blind or something. "Thanks, Ken... I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't have shown up." I said, releif showing in my eyes.


I had the horrid human when a large shifter came and knocked me off, I didn't know what it was but it sounded big, and I didn't want to get a broken wing, so I fell back and tried to 'see' what it was. It was some large carnivore, that was all I could decider. "Who are you, Shifter, and why are you protecting that human?" I demanded, lowering into a protective posture.

Kaala watched as a monstrous tiger attacked her brother, she was glad, but mad all at once, she grabbed her brother and held him by the waist, she did not want him to go after the poor girl again. '' Roul calm down she is a Shifter just like us'', she breath in and out easily, '' Okay every one needs to calm down'' she put her head on her brothers shoulder and looked at him with big puppy, she always tries to look innocent when she does something she knows its bad.

Ken growled one last time and shifted to half stated, he looked at the male and was not sure if the two where siblings or more than that. He looked at Kesiah and asked very kindly, '' Are you okay'' He looked at the guy the blond called Rould, , ''You there, why would you attack your own kind?'', he held on to Kesiah's hand hopping she is truly okay.

I looked up at Ken in relief, glad he was here."I'm fine," I said, squeezing his hand. It was great having him around, he was funny, sweet and was there for me. Oh my gosh, do I sound like a love sick puppy? Well, he was there and he was great, that's what mattered. My heartbeat still had to go down to it's normal rate, but I looked at the dark guy that attacked me, waiting his answer.... that would probable scare me.


I glared with an intensity only a blind guy could deliver, to answer. "How do I know both of you aren't working for the lab, huh?" I asked, entirely on defensive. I was going to protect Kaala, and even though she could see and said they where no threat, I still needed proof. "And as for you! I saw where you where last night! You're in big trouble, missy!" Yeah, I knew I sounded like her father or something but she was my sister and I didn't like her going behind my back. How was I supposed to know what they had been doing all night?

The blond girl, growled at her brother, '' Ya cuz a wild wolf girl and a tiger boy are soooo from the lab'' she huff and let him go her arm crossing her chest, she thought her brother was becoming more protective of his baby sister, and she was becoming more rebellious. Kaala bused as she saw the look on his face and as soon as the word came out her mouth pop open, and her wing popped out. Kaala did not have control over that when she was emotional, and her voice sqeaked, '' OH MY GOD! Roul, you stalked me, and we didnt do anything bad we just made out all nigt okay.. No sex! God''.

Ken smiled at the beautiful girl in front of him gad she was fine. Ken still had no real close you could say he went back to the wood, but no carried the pants Kesiah gave him just in case he looses his human self again. Ken had missed Kesiah in the last while, but was glad to see her but not in this situation. '' Lab what lab, i live in the forest.. and cant you see im a freaking shifter mister Roul'', Ken was mad, and you dont want to see him mad mad, he could just bite you head off, he turned and looked at Kesiah giving her a wild smile, but the sibling apparently go off and start talking about personal things making Ken blush a deep red.

I stood up, brushing off my jeans, and smiled back at Ken. Now that I was sure of backup, I was going to fire of my famous backtalk. "Alright, listen here, you. I don't know just who you think you are, but you are not going to talk to us that way, Got it?" I glared with a fire in my eyes, and I hoped I seemed intimidating. No one usually thinks shy little old me has the mouth I do, but I've chewed down words than this bird brain. "And do you mind? Talk about personal problems somewhere else, please. God, is chivalry DEAD?!"

I looked in surprise at the other two, perhaps they weren't from the lab. But I didn't think that. "We're from the lab. That didn't stop us from being shifters, now did it, little pussy kitten?" I snapped, then turned to Kaala. "We'll talk about this later." And turned to to the smart-mouth, and just glared, I didn't have a comeback, but she was lucky I didn't just leap on her then and there.

Kaala growled her confused mad teenager sound, she looked at Kesiah and had to ask, '' I don't even know what chivalry even means Kesiah..'', she looked at the girl her face confused. Next The girl looked at her brother, '' Fine but i will tell ya it was the best time of my LIFE'', She blushes and her smile becomes huge, she starts thinking about the night not noticing it started to radiate off as an illusion. But she was not done, she had to say something to her deer friend or the tiger boy, '' I may say you hot Tiger Man''.

Ken smiled the slight breeze making his skin tangle, he nodded at the blond, '' Thanks but your a little young'', truthfully she was not but her brother would eat him if he didn't say either wise. He was glad Kesiah was standing up for them but he had his own question, '' Whats a lab? and why where you in a lab?''

I glared at the blonde, upset that she was hitting on Ken. "Hey, back off he's taken," I said , glaring. Ken was my big bad kitty, I wasn't about to let some little tramp take him from me! Then I looked back at Ken. "A lab is a place where they combine chemicals and make experiments to prove theories and that sort of stuff. That's all I know about it anyways," I looked back at Roul, who was looking rather mad. "Isn't that what it is, Hot Shot?"


I glared at my little sister, she was just fueling my anger. "You are not helping your predicament, Kaala!" I said, and turned back to the tiger and wolf shifters, my words aimed to the tiger. "Good idea, kitty. Don't get me angry. And yes, wolf, that is what a lab is. But I still need proof you aren't from there." I said, looking expectantly towards the tiger's general direction.

Ken's head was spinning, he could wink or smile at the girl, but his heart did not feel for her, his one nighters had to end, his heart was only for Kesiah now. Ken shrugged and sighed, '' Girl arnt you a little to young to act like this''. He frowned at her and stood very close to Kesiah, he loved this beautiful wolf girl. He smiled at her, his face in a sad lonely way, he stiled lived alone, but he kne he had her.

Kaala squeaked, her eagle sounding voice mad, '' You not my brother, and Roul i am sure they are not from the lab, cant you scent it..fell it'', she sighed and sent him an illusion, she was pissed and wanted to show him her wonderful night, all of it, her last one was a slip up with blurs, this, OMG, her brother would be pissed, and Kaala was just revealing it again.
